How to Work Out Your m²

To calculate the square metres (m²) of your space:

  1. Measure the length of your area in metres
  2. Measure the width of your area in metres
  3. Multiply length × width = m²
  4. Example: A room 4m long × 3m wide = 12m²

Tip: For irregular shapes, divide the area into rectangles, calculate each, and add together.

Wastage Allowance Guide
600 x 600 +10% for cuts
1200 x 600 +15% for cuts
1200 x 1200 +20% for cuts

Larger tiles require more wastage allowance due to increased likelihood of breakage and more complex cutting patterns.
